Hello! I’m Corey from Hey There, Home and I’m thrilled to be here kicking off the first of many roundups to get your creative juices a-flowing when it comes to getting your home ready for the holidays.
It seems that gold has worked it’s way into everyone’s hearts again this year and I’m not complaining. When everyone was into silver, I was still loving gold. It has taken over as the go to metallic so today I gathered up more than a dozen easy ways for you to add a touch of gold to your fall table.
Place cards are a really fun way to personalize your holiday table and make for a really fun diy cause there are so many possibilities.
Last year I created these gold dipped concrete place cards with a modern vibe and used them on my table for dinner, and for photos throughout the season.
Tan at Squirrelly Minds came up with a really simple way to use all of those pine cones that your kids may be collecting this time of year. Just give them a shot of gold and they make for a perfect place card holder.
We all know that paint can do magic and well, gold paint, I think we can agree does twice the magic.
Gold tape is always a favorite too and total bonus, it is usually not permanent so you can decorate for the holiday and change it up next time.
Amber at Damask Love created a really expensive looking acrylic and gold succulent planter that would be perfect as a centerpiece with gold tape too! This copper pipe candelabra from Hello Lidy is one of my favorites! It is modern and adds an unexpected element to the table.
Do I have you convinced that you just might need a little extra gold in your life this season? Bring on the spray paint, glitter, pipe, metallic tape, and anything else with that warm shine to it!
I guess it’s time to leave you to it! We are so excited to be kicking off what we know will be a season full of awesome ideas and are thrilled to have you along for the ride!
I’ll be back in December sharing a Christmas DIY, but until then be sure to come by and visit me at Hey There, Home!
